Knowledge Transfer in the discipline of Nursing is focused on responding to, and planning for, the evolving health needs of the community with a focus on excellence in clinical nursing practice and consumer involvement.

We achieve this through:

• Building collaborative partnerships with consumers and providers of health care that are of mutual benefit to the University and community
• Integrating teaching and research in ways that dynamically inform practice
• Responding to, and planning for, the evolving health needs of the community with a focus on excellence in clinical nursing practice

Our areas of Knowledge Transfer activity include acute and chronic health care, cancer and palliative care, medication safety, mental health and children’s health.
