The Therapeutic Medication Management Education Program (TMMEP) provides students with generic and specialist advanced practice knowledge and skills in health assessment, history taking, diagnostic interventions, referral and integration of care within multidisciplinary services, decision making and patient education.
Depending on prior nursing qualifications, you may complete the subjects at Postgraduate Diploma or Masters level. Completion of the program at either level can be submitted as part of the Nurses Board of Victoria nurse practitioner endorsement process.
The TMMEP does not lead to a formal award; however, the program is accredited by the Nurses Board of Victoria as preparation for Nurse Practitioner endorsement.

The TMMEP is a part-time coursework program of one year's duration.

The TMMEP comprises 25 credit points of coursework. Depending on prior nursing qualifications, you can complete the subjects at Postgraduate Diploma (1) or Masters (2) level, or a combination of the two.
Students may commence study in Semester 1 or 2 of the academic year.

You can enrol in the subjects that comprise the TMMEP as either a component of the Master of Advanced Nursing Practice or as standalone subjects through the Community Access Program.
International applicants should ensure that Community Access Program study complies with their Australian visa conditions.
