All applicants must meet the University’s English language requirements.
If English is not your first language, there are a number of ways to demonstrate that you have met these requirements. Details are available on the Future Students Graduate English language requirements website.
If you are enrolling in one of our specialty practice diplomas or degrees that has an employment requirement, you should note that the Nurses Board of Victoria requires an IELTS score of 7.0 (with at least 6.5 in reading and listening and 7.0 in writing and speaking) to register for unrestricted practice as a Division 1 nurse. You must be able to meet this requirement to register for practice and fulfil the clinical requirements of your enrolment.
