Applicants for both the Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and PhD need to complete the appropriate application form (Australian domestic student or international student), meet the entry requirements, provide 2 referee reports, provide a CV, and provide a 1,000 to 1,500 word written proposal.

This proposal should include:

• background literature and aims
• the research question(s) or hypothesis statements
• the proposed method including ethical considerations, data collection, sampling and data analysis
• an argument for the relevance of the study to nursing
• a time line for completion

Local students

You are a local student if you are an Australian or New Zealand citizen, an Australian permanent resident or if you hold a permanent humanitarian visa. You must submit your application form and supporting documents to:
